Basils farm is such picture perfect spot. Working your way down the driveway toward the café and cellar door right there is where the intrigue starts to build. As you walk in the view of the vines and out over Swan Bay begins to reveal itself.
Kid friendly with the sand pit and adult friendly with the great tasting wines on offer. There is a full line-up here, and Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are always worth tasting.
The Café has an impressive menu without being overwhelmed with a heap of options. Lunch here is certainly worth considering, try not to get caught up in the Basils trap of staying all afternoon, especially if you are on a wine tour.
Wine here starts at $30, and for the top shelf offerings, you are looking at $55 for the best of the best which just so happens to be Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and their sparkling – all these wines sit under the Kiltynane range.
At the café, breakfast is also an option on weekends and with options starting at $12 it could be an excellent way to start the day.
